  1. Introduction
    • 1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use and interaction with Ribble FM, a local radio station based in Clitheroe, Lancashire (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Ribble FM”).
    • 1.2. By listening to or engaging with Ribble FM, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
  2. Content & Usage
    • 2.1. All content, including but not limited to music, advertisements, discussions, and news, aired on Ribble FM is either owned by us or we have the necessary permissions to broadcast it.
    • 2.2. Unauthorized use, recording, or rebroadcasting of our content without explicit permission is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.
  3. Listener Conduct
    • 3.1. When interacting with our station, whether through phone-ins, social media or any other platform, you must behave respectfully and refrain from using offensive or inappropriate language.
  4. Competitions & Giveaways
    • 4.1. Any competitions or giveaways conducted by Ribble FM will have their own set of terms and conditions, which will be made available at the time of announcement.
    • 4.2. Ribble FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not adhere to the competition rules or these Terms.
  5. Privacy & Data Protection
    • 5.1. Ribble FM respects the privacy of its listeners. Any personal information shared with us will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
    • 5.2. By participating in any interactive segment of the station, you give Ribble FM the right to broadcast your voice, comments, and any other information you provide on air.
  6. Liabilities
    • 6.1. Ribble FM will not be held liable for any harm or damages arising from content broadcasted, including but not limited to inaccuracies, misrepresentations or omissions.
    • 6.2. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to our broadcasts. Occasional technical issues may result in temporary unavailability.
  7. Advertisements
    • 7.1. Ribble FM airs advertisements from third parties. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or reliability of these advertisements.
    • 7.2. Any dealings or disputes related to products or services mentioned in these advertisements are solely between the listener and the advertiser.
  8. Changes to Terms
    • 8.1. Ribble FM reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. It’s the responsibility of the listener to review the updated terms periodically.
    • 8.2. Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the new terms.
  9. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
    • 9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
